Your fighter trains. Even while you sleep.
Pick a Z-Fighter (or a villain), choose a hunting ground on the classic DBO map and watch them battle, loot and transform. You make the decisions, the server does the grinding.

How it works
Three decisions, endless training. Everything else is handled by the server.
Create your fighter
Choose one of 12 classes, each with its own strengths, weaknesses and transformation chain. Name them and enter West City.
Pick a hunting ground
From the wolves of Paozu to Hell Valley. Your fighter walks the real map, picks fights, drinks potions and loots everything.
Grow and trade
Spend Zeni on gear and upgrades, unlock new forms, collect Dragon Balls and trade rare drops with other players.
Choose your fighter
Every class plays differently. Hover a card to see its transformations.
Goku
Balanced fighter
7 transformations · Lv 30+
“Pushes past his limits when the fight turns bad.”
Saiyan Spirit: +25% damage while below 30% HP.
Pros
- + Well-rounded stats
- + Most transformations of any class
- + +25% damage below 30% HP
Cons
- − No standout specialty early on
Built like an MMO, played like an idle game
The original DBO world
45 hunting grounds rendered tile by tile from a classic Dragon Ball Tibia map: Namek, Red Ribbon bases, Other World, Hell and more.
Transformations
Every class unlocks real forms as it levels: Kaioken, Super Saiyan stages, Frieza forms, Majin Boo and beyond. Rebirth for a second chain.
Fair, server-side play
Every fight is simulated on our servers. Your browser only shows the replay, so there is nothing to hack and nothing to bot.
Dragon Balls
All seven Dragon Balls drop rarely from any monster. Gather a set, summon Shenron and make a wish.
Offline training
Close the tab and your fighter keeps training at reduced efficiency. Come back to a summary of what they earned.
Two markets
Buy potions and gear from the shop, or trade drops with other players on the community market with escrow.
Global chat
World, trade and help channels, server-wide announcements for rare drops and milestones.
PC and mobile
No download. The same account works in any modern browser, with a layout built for phones.
From Paozu to Hell
45 hunting grounds, level 1 to 241+.
A fair economy
Two currencies with clear jobs. Nothing that matters for progression is locked behind a payment.
Zeni
The everyday currency. Earned from every kill and from selling loot to the shop.
- • Buy potions, gear and equipment upgrades
- • Trade with other players on the community market
- • Spent on market tax and upgrades, so prices stay healthy
Diamonds
Optional premium currency, bought with SOL. Never dropped by monsters.
- • VIP, experience and loot boosts, cosmetics, extra slots
- • Tradeable for items with other players
- • Withdrawal requests are reviewed manually before payout
No hunt, region, boss, class or transformation is behind a paywall. No energy bars, no ads. Diamonds and items have no guaranteed real-world value and nothing in DBO Idle is an investment.
FAQ
Is it really free?+
Yes. Every hunt, boss, class and region is free. Diamonds only buy VIP, boosts, cosmetics and convenience. You can reach the top without spending anything.
Do I need to keep the game open?+
Hunting runs live while you have the game open, and keeps going for a short grace period if you close it. After that, offline training counts up to 8 hours (16 with VIP) at reduced efficiency, credited when you return.
How do Diamonds work?+
Diamonds are bought with SOL on the Solana network and sent to the game pool wallet. They are never dropped by monsters. You can spend them in the Diamond shop or trade them for items with other players.
Can I withdraw?+
Diamonds you hold can be requested for withdrawal to your Solana address. Every withdrawal is reviewed manually by an admin before it is sent, and a fee applies. Withdrawals can be denied in cases of abuse, chargeback-like disputes or rule violations. Nothing here is an investment.
Can I have more than one character?+
Yes. Your account starts with 3 character slots. Only one character hunts at a time, and Zeni and items are shared by the whole account.
Is this an official Dragon Ball game?+
No. DBO Idle is an unofficial fan game and is not affiliated with the Dragon Ball rights holders. See the legal notice for details.
